$13.4 Million Capital Budget Passed
by Kathy Savolt - At the June 22, 2026 meeting of the Board of Trustees (BOT), the Capital Budget for fiscal year 2026-27 was unanimously approved with a 4-0 vote. (Mayor Sharon Torres, returning from a business trip, was stuck at an airport due to inclement weather.) Commercial Vehicle Parking Limited
by Kathy Savolt - After much discussion over the past few months, the Board of Trustees (BOT) passed Local Law L-2026 at their June 22, 2026 meeting. With one exception, commercial vehicles with a Village GPC permit must now park in the Bishop Avenue lot. This will free spaces in the Spencer Place lot for shoppers and restaurant patrons. The new law (see HERE) makes it a violation for commercial vehicles with a GPC permit to park in any lot other than the Bishop Avenue
