After much discussion over the past few months, the Board of Trustees (BOT) passed Local Law L-2026 at their June 22, 2026 meeting.  With one exception, commercial vehicles with a Village GPC permit must now park in the Bishop Avenue lot.  This will free spaces in the Spencer Place lot for shoppers and restaurant patrons.

The new law (see HERE) makes it a violation for commercial vehicles with a GPC permit to park in any lot other than the Bishop Avenue lot.  The exception is for up to two commercial vehicles licensed to businesses with addresses within 100 feet of the Spencer Place lot.  They will be permitted to park up to two vehicles from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm.  Currently, Arcadia Florist is the only business that qualifies.

Signage in the Spencer Place lot will be changed accordingly.
