Frank LeDonne, age 72, of Mamaroneck, NY, passed away on July 11, 2025.  Frank was born on January 7, 1953, in L’Aquilia, Italy, and grew up in West Harrison, NY in a close-knit family that instilled in him the values of hard work, loyalty, and love.

Frank was a devoted father to his sons, Anthony (Kimberly) and Frank (Kimberly), and cherished grandfather to his four grandchildren, Jake, Brooke, Sofie, and Emme all of whom he adored beyond measure.  His pride in his sons and grandchildren was clear to all who knew him.  He is also survived by his beloved partner, MaryEllen, and his siblings, Caroline (Joe), Italo (Debbie), and Rosa Maria (Anthony).  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Aquilina, and his parents, Antonio and Maria.

As a successful business owner, Frank operated his own landscaping business, where he worked side-by-side with his son, building a legacy of dedication and craftsmanship that will be remembered by many.  He was known for his work ethic, his kindness, and his ability to make everyone feel like family.

Frank had a deep passion for golf and loved spending his free time on the course.  His enthusiasm for the game was only matched by his love of racehorses, an activity that brought him great joy and excitement.  Frank’s favorite place was Myrtle Beach, where he found peace and contentment, surrounded by golf courses and the warmth of good company.

Frank's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  His memory will live on through the love of his family, his cherished friends, and the many lives he touched throughout his life. He was a man of quiet strength and unwavering loyalty, whose love was constant and deeply felt, even if not always spoken.  Frank's strong and steady presence was a source of comfort and reliability—he led with quiet conviction, offered support without seeking recognition, and gave his heart generously to those he loved.  His legacy is one of integrity, devotion, and enduring love.

Anne Gelles Stone passed away peacefully at Artis Senior Living Center in Lexington, MA on June 10th, 2025 surrounded by her children.  She was 96.

Anne was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1929, and was raised in Birmingham, as well as Columbus, Georgia.  Anne lived a life full of kindness and compassion.  Her infectious laugh, dry sense of humor, and lovely smile were with her until the very end.

Anne graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, where she majored in English and Literature.  Her love of literature stayed with her for life, a few southern authors among her favorites.  Her childhood was spent with a book in hand, under the ceiling fan, windows open on their covered porch.

After college, Anne taught second grade in Georgia, before moving to NYC where she worked as a writer/editor for Scholastic Magazine.  As a southern belle in NYC her dance card was always full, yet her appreciation for family, kindness, and the simple things in life led her to her love, Donald Stone.  Their adventure began with a walk to an ice cream parlor.  They married a year later and ended up in Mamaroneck where they raised their four children.  Anne and Don created a love-filled home for the kids, and it continued long after they moved away.  Anne never got off the phone with any of her children without an “I love you.”

Anne returned to teaching as the kids grew older but later left that to do community work in Mamaroneck, helping people find jobs, visiting the elderly and the ill, and making sure no one felt forgotten.  Through her work, Anne was one of the co-founders of the Mamaroneck Food Pantry.

Anne had a wonderful sense of humor and a southern sweetness that made people feel at ease.  Her joyful presence was a gift to all who knew her.  Loving memories of Anne will stay with her family and many friends forever.

Anne is predeceased by her devoted husband Donald Herbert Stone, her parents, Robert and Clara Coplan Gelles, and her brother Robert Gelles.

Anne is survived by her four children, Randy Stone (Alana) of Mamaroneck, NY, Douglas Stone of Cambridge, MA, Robbie Stone Blackett of Concord, MA and Julie Stone Doherty (Dennis) of Larchmont, NY, along with seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and two more on the way.
