Lucille Pinto Longo of Mamaroneck passed away on Monday September 22, 2025 at Greenwich Hospital at the age of 99.

 

Lucille was born at home in the Bronx on July 8, 1926 to Paul Tateo and Paula Costello Tateo.


She was the youngest of 10 children, all of whom predeceased her.  She was also predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Pinto, and her second husband, Jack Longo.  Sadly, she was also predeceased by her loving son, Joey Pinto, in December 2024.

 

Growing up in the Bronx, Lucille enjoyed going to Yankee Stadium as a teenager.  She remained a Yankees fan for her entire life.  Before marrying, she was an accomplished dancer, often entering competitions with her older brothers.  Lucille enjoyed a long and full life, building houses, antiquing, and fishing with her first husband Joe, and dancing with her second husband Jack, who was a pilot.  They would love to fly together to small airports in the northeast, and Jack would often let her pilot the plane!  She was a long-time volunteer at United Hospital in Port Chester and also worked for many years teaching crafts at AI Friedman in Port Chester. Lucille enjoyed sewing and belly dancing, and was an accomplished artist, studying with the famous seascape artist Ray Crosby.  She was very active in both the Town and Village of Mamaroneck Senior Centers.  Lucille loved animals, especially Chihuahuas.

 

Lucille is survived by her loving daughter Jane Fastiggi and son-in-law Raymond, and her beloved daughter-in-law Debra Pinto.  She is also survived by her 2 grandsons Joey Pinto Jr. (wife Jessica) and Steven Pinto (wife Alysa), and her great-grand daughter, Eva Lane Pinto.  She is also survived by her stepdaughter Katie Longo Iannuzzi and her stepsons August Longo and Jackie Longo.  Lucille is also survived by her step grandchildren John Iannuzzi (wife Sonni-Ann) and Jeanne Boland (husband Kenny).  Also survived by 6 step great-grandchildren (Lemon Iannuzzi, and Connor, Ryan, Cara, Tanner, and Alyssa Boland).  Lucille is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and many friends.

 

Laurance Lambiase of Mamaroneck, NY tragically passed away on September 22, 2025.  He was 82. Larry was born on October 19, 1942 to Emil & Gladys Lambiase.  He appreciated nature, was most comfortable outdoors, and enjoyed a longtime career as an arborist at Lambiase & Hickey Tree Care.  Larry had a love for music of all genres and an extensive album collection.  When he wasn’t listening to music, he was cheering for the Yankees while listening to the game on the radio.  He was a member of the Cos Cob Rifle & Pistol Club where he enjoyed many years of target shooting.  Larry is survived by his “Bestest Friend”, his beloved wife of nearly 61 years, Marie.  He is the cherished father of Lorraine Spinetti and her husband David.  Larry was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Sophia and Marco.  He is predeceased by his brother, Bobby Lambiase.

 

Joan Ann Purchia (née Bozzelli), of Mamaroneck, NY, passed away on September 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.  She was 87.

 

Born in the Bronx on January 28, 1938, to Anthony and Maria (née Romano) Bozzelli, Joan graduated from Jane Addams Vocational High School in June 1957.  A devoted homemaker, she loved to cook and host family gatherings, creating countless cherished memories.  Later in life, she became a certified locksmith and worked alongside her husband in the family business.

 

Joan is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Roger Purchia; her loving children, Andrew Purchia and his wife Debbie, and Anthony Purchia and his wife Michelle; and her cherished grandchildren, Robert Purchia, Joanne Hulsey and her husband James, Qiara Bouldin and her fiancé Cleveland Prince, Anthony “AJ” Purchia, and Christopher Purchia.  She was also blessed with great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy: Giancarlo Purchia, Leonardo Purchia, Adelynn Hulsey, and Elea Hulsey.  Joan will also be deeply missed by her dear nephews, Joseph Bozzelli, by whom she adored, Martin Bozzelli and her grand-niece, Angelina Bozzelli.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony Bozzelli and Joseph Bozzelli.
