Mary Ingraham Westcott, beloved mother, neighbor, and longtime resident of Mamaroneck, NY passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, at the age of 94.  Born on March 1, 1931, Mary lived a life defined by quiet strength, devotion to her family, and a genuine kindness she extended to everyone she met.

Mary was the daughter of Mary Whitman Ingraham and Edgar Blakely Ingraham, and grew up in a household shaped by the Depression, hard work, education, and a rich heritage.  She has been preceded by her brothers, Whitman and Alan and her sister, Jane. Her maternal grandparents were members of the Whitman family of Amherst, MA.

In 1950, she married Jack Westcott of Mamaroneck, and together they raised four children: John, Diane, David, and Richard.  Later years brought challenges, a separation, and eventually divorce in 1970.  These struggles, along with her newfound love of painting, became turning points in her life.  Through it all, Mary’s devotion to her children and her faith remained unwavering.

She often spoke of her mother’s strong and steady influence, her father’s love of reading and education, and the importance of trusting in God.  She liked to say, “When one door closes, another one opens,” a reflection of her belief in resilience, grace, and the possibilities within change.

Her advice to her children was simple but powerful: never give up, recognize your strengths, and pass along the good things you’ve been given.

Mary will be remembered for her resilience, her warmth, and the steadfast love she offered to family and friends.

Rosa Judith Barrios Mérida, a devoted mother, gifted chef, and beloved member of both the Guatemalan and Mamaroneck communities, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of generosity, strength, and love.  She was born on August 30, 1969, in San Lorenzo, San Marcos, Guatemala.

For the past 30 years, Rosa made her home in Mamaroneck, New York.  There, she built a life rooted in hard work, compassion, and deep dedication to her family.  Her cooking was more than a craft—it was an expression of care, tradition, and connection.  Friends and family will forever remember the meals she lovingly prepared, each one infused with her heritage and her heart.

Rosa was the proud mother of two daughters: Linda Mariana Mazariegos, who preceded her in death, and Ana Maria Mazariegos, who survives her and carries forward her mother’s spirit, resilience, and love.  Rosa’s devotion to her daughters was unwavering, and the bond they shared was at the center of her life.

She is also survived by her siblings, Fredy Roberto Barrios and Shuanda Maria Barrios, as well as her half-sister, Verónica Mérida.  To them, Rosa was a source of warmth, support, and cherished memories that will endure for years to come.

Rosa’s life was shaped by courage and perseverance—from her roots in San Lorenzo to the life she built in New York.  She touched the lives of many with her kindness, her laughter, and her remarkable ability to make others feel at home.

She will be remembered always for the love and care she gave, the traditions she preserved, and the strength she embodied.  Her family and friends take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her daughter Linda, and that her legacy continues in every life she has touched.  May her memory be a blessing, now and always.

Yolanda Gentile, of Mamaroneck, passed away November 11, 2025, at age 88.  She was born on October 18, 1937, in Mount Vernon to Antonio & Ida Zubini.  Yolanda worked as a Senior Financial Representative for Chase in Scarsdale.  She enjoyed spending time and visiting her favorite places in Mamaroneck.  She loved holidays and parties, but above all else treasured the time spent with her family.  Yolanda is the beloved wife of the late Michael A. Gentile.  She is the cherished mother of Dr. Michael Gentile (Lara Keidel), Lisa Ferraro (Mark) and Joann Gentile (Carey Wardell), loving grandmother of Toni (Bobby Hoffmann), Marco (Kristen), Erica (Travis), Michael, Lily and Arnold and great grandmother of Kora, Milo and Emilia.  Yolanda is the sister of the late Pasquale Zubini and Mary Fraioli.
