Village Manager Kathleen Gill announced two public meetings regarding the Village’s flood mitigation efforts.

The first is scheduled for the June 23rd meeting of the Flood Mitigation Committee.  Assistant Village Manager Dennis Delborgo will present a very detailed summary of the Village’s Mitigation Plan.  The meeting is at 7:30 pm in the conference room at Village Hall at the Regatta.

On June 30th, a larger community meeting will be held at Sarah Neuman from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Representatives from all the agencies involved will be present: US Army Corps of Engineers, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Westchester County and the Village of Mamaroneck.  Elected officials will also be in attendance.   This meeting will include presentations by the agencies who will then answer questions from the community.  Questions must be submitted in advance of the meeting because of time constraints.
