Have You Thanked a Police Officer Lately?

It’s National Police Week (May 10-16) so now’s your chance.  On Friday, May 15, 2026, the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department (VMPD) will hold a special Police Award Ceremony to acknowledge those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.

This ceremony doesn’t happen every year; only when extraordinary acts deserve recognition.  The event is open to the public and will take place in the Rye Neck High School/Middle School auditorium from 7 – 8 p.m.
