Mamaroneck Library Proposes Budget

The Mamaroneck Public Library will present the proposed budget on October 14th in the Library’s Community Room. The budget is for fiscal year June 1, 2027 – May 31, 2028.
This session is open to the public and gives Village residents the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback. See HERE or the budget narrative and HERE for the budget detail along with historical data.
The proposed budget reflects a 4% increase in the library tax (the same as the prior year) and includes full staffing and mandated funding to make the website ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant. Library funding is separately stated on your Village of Mamaroneck tax bill.
Village Voters Must Approve the Budget
Voters must approve the library budget and elect trustees to the board. The vote will be on Wednesday, December 9th.
