Nancy A. LaVecchia, of Mamaroneck, passed away Monday May 5th.  She was 81.  Born in New Rochelle, November 21, 1943 to Dominic and Nancy DiNapoli.  She was a graduate of New Rochelle High School and spent her career working at F. E. Bellows School in Mamaroneck. Nancy was a wonderful wife and mother.  She enjoyed cooking for her family, loved flowers, and Elvis.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael; and is survived by her loving children Phyllis Johnson, Janice McHale (John), Karen LaVecchia, and Anthony (Renee); and her cherished grandchildren Matthew Johnson, Joseph Sabia, Sgt. Nicholas Sabia, and Gracie LaVecchia.

 

Philip Vincent Reda, Sr. born in Portchester NY passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 82 on Sunday May 4, 2025.  He grew up in Harrison NY and later moved to Mamaroneck NY with his wife Marie.  He went to Rider College where he got a business degree and received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce.  Later he joined the Army National Guard where he served for several years.  After serving he worked for Westchester County Department of Child and Social Services until he retired in 2002.  Phil also enjoyed working weekends and holidays for Moraio Bros Florist in Rye NY for many years.  He also had a side bartending business where he would work private parties.  He had a zest for life and loved working and being around people.  He was a loving husband, father & father-in-law.  Phil is survived by his wife Marie, son Philip Jr (Raquel) and several nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his parents Anna (Moraio) and Charles Reda, brothers Peter aka Bobby (Marion) and Charles (Theresa).
