Attilio (Leo) Guarascio, of Mamaroneck, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27th at the age of 97. Born on August 12, 1928, in Dipignano, Italy, to Giovanni and Angelina Guarascio, Attilio brought with him a deep appreciation for family, hard work, and tradition when he immigrated to the United States.  He built a life rooted in dedication, working in construction and taking great pride in providing for his family.

Attilio found joy in life’s simple pleasures.  He loved tending to his garden, where his care and patience were evident in everything he grew.  A devoted usher at St. Vito’s Church, he was a familiar and welcoming presence to parishioners for many years, reflecting his strong faith and commitment to his community.  Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, creating lasting memories through gatherings, laughter, and quiet moments together.  His strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those he loved will be remembered always.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Annellina; his son John and daughter Angela Fraioli (Peter); and his cherished grandchildren, Daniella and Peter, who brought him immense pride and happiness. Â He was predeceased by his twin sister, Ortenzia, and his brother, Lidio.

Angela Vetrano, of Mamaroneck, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 24th, with family by her side. She was 77. Born in Arce, Italy, August 5, 1948, to Luigi and Caroline Carducci.  Angela worked as a Teacher’s Aide at St. Gregory’s preschool in Harrison. She loved gardening, taking walks at Oakland Beach, trips to Cape Cod, hosting holidays, dancing, cooking and baking; but above all she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Andre, William, Adam, Kevin, Eric, Alexa and Sarah. Angela leaves behind her beloved husband of 55 years, Nicholas, her loving children Jennifer Bubluski (Brian), Renee Pasquale (Ken) and Steven (Christina), her cherished grandchildren, her dear sister Connie Griese, and many treasured in-laws, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Anne.Â
