Charles Rigano, of Mamaroneck, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 25. He was 88. Born, in New Rochelle, July 9, 1934, to Charles and Elizabeth Rigano. Charlie graduated from Stepinac High School in 1952 and then went on to serve his country proudly in the US Army during the Korean War. He then went on to work for Allstate Insurance in Mamaroneck, where his career spanned 50 years; he also dedicated himself to the community as an Auxiliary Police Officer. Charlie was an avid sportsman, enjoying golf, fishing and especially baseball and softball. His team went to the Senior Softball World Series in San Antonio, Texas in 1995 and Tucson, Arizona in 1997. Charlie leaves behind his beloved wife, Angela Rigano, his loving children Valerie, David (Debra), Laura (James Savastano), and Christine; his cherished grandchildren Nicole and Sergio Nieto; and dear sister Jean. He is predeceased by his sister Mary Dahlgren.
