Increased Parking Costs May Be In Your Future
by Cindy Goldstein - Mark your calendars for Monday, April 13 th . That’s because the Village scheduled two public hearings for the Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting at 7:30 pm concerning parking fees and fines and you can have your say on the matter. Proposed Local Law PLL J (see HERE ) outlines metered parking in certain zones on Sundays in certain zones from 9 am to 1 pm and certain holidays. If passed, this law will end the current practice of free meters on Sunday.

Flood News: Four Municipalities Cooperate and Grant Updates

Recent Obituaries
Robert Jones , of Mamaroneck, sadly passed away on March 19, 2026. He was 68. Robbie was born on July 7, 1957, to Edward & Leola Jones, and was raised along with his loving stepmother Catherine Jones. For many years he worked as a roofer for Angus Theriault & Sons Roofing. A helpful man and a handy man by nature, Robby was able to fix anything from a faucet to a roof. He is fondly remembered as a kind and gentle man, a friend to all who knew him. by Kathy Savolt - Parade Grand Marshall Joe Carvin, former Rye Town Supervisor, appeared at the March 9, 2026 Board of Trustees (BOT) work session to highlight this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Village Now Reporting FOIL Requests

At the March 9, 2026 Board of Trustees meeting, Village Clerk Sally Roberts reported that her office received 140 requests filed under the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) just in the month of February. Dangerous Intersection – What’s the Holdup?
